Lego Session: Having a "Blast"
The Develop Africa Sierra Leone (DASL) team hosted the 2nd STEM Session, using engaging Lego Mindstorms sets. This innovative program aimed to train beneficiaries in building Lego robots, nurturing their interest and passion for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and robotics.
Fredrick and Daniel participated in the Lego session. They built their own robot named Blast, as seen in this video.
Hello, I am Fredrick, one of the beneficiaries of Develop Africa and this is my colleague Daniel, and we were part of the Lego program. This is our robot known as Blast, we basically started off with the head which wasn’t too difficult, connected it to the device we were using to control it. We then worked on the body and from there we just took it off. Here is a demonstration of how it worked basically. Thank you very much!
